Community-Based Conservation
Our Activities
Community-Based Conservation
Protecting Nature Through Community Participation
We work with nomadic herders, farming communities, village leaders, youth groups, schools, monasteries, and local institutions across Ladakh to strengthen conservation efforts led by local communities.
Our approach combines traditional ecological knowledge with sustainable conservation practices to protect biodiversity, preserve fragile Himalayan ecosystems, and support peaceful coexistence between people, wildlife, livestock, and agriculture.
