Supporting Local Handicrafts & Women's Livelihoods
We are supporting local handicrafts to help women become actively involved in income generation and strengthen their livelihoods. Their traditional products are world famous, especially Ladakhi pashmina, sheep wool, yak wool, and dairy products.
Yak cheese and goat milk are highly nutritious and play an important role in the local food system and culture.
